3 Good Methods To Make Gold In WoW
In any MMO, not just in World of Warcraft, making gold, credits or whatever currency that game has, is not exactly easy. And you'll always need equipment and consumables to be able to be strong and resistant in PvP, or deal insane amounts of damage in raids. So, if you want to make some gold in WoW, I'm sure the following methods will help.
1. Essence of Air. Although this is quite an old resource, being around since the very beginning of the game, it's still on high demand today. Essences of Air are required for a couple of nice weapon enchantments, like Enchant Weapon - Agility, which players need for their Heirloom weapons.
Essence of Air can be farmed in general, from 55-70 level wind elemental mobs. One of the best spots is in northwestern Silithus. Although the drop rate for these essences isn't high, you can still get up to 15 per hour, which should sell for up to 2000g.
2. Primal Air. This air elemental resource can be obtained from wind elementals in the zones of the Burning Crusades. Actually, the wind elementals drop Motes of Air, and by combining 10 Motes of Air, you obtain a Primal Air.
Motes of Air can also be extracted by Engineers from certain little gas clouds found in Nagrand. As an Engineer though, you will need a special tool to do this. It's called the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor.
Primal Air is used in many craft recipes of TBC, and the average price for one is usually between 150-200g.
A good spot to farm Primal Air is in Nagrand, at the Elemental Plateau.
3. Crusader Enchantments. The Enchant Weapon - Crusader, is one of the best melee weapon enchantments that work on Heirlooms. To craft one though you need a Spellcrafter and the Crusader recipe, of course. If you don't have this recipe, you can farm it from the mobs at Tyr's Hand in Eastern Plaguelands, or, pay a couple of thousands and purchase it from AH. It's worth the investment.
Now, if you have the recipe and the Enchanting skill required to craft this enchantment, all you need to do is purchase the materials, craft the enchantment scrolls and sell them. The materials for one Crusader shouldn't cost more than 150g, while the enchantment scrolls sells for 350-400g usually.
